And this is why you shouldn't use noob oldschool bots.


This guys bot got stuck for ~10 minutes, in that time it thought he was logged out, and tried to "log him in" to the game, and typed his username + password for everyone to see.
Me being the oh-so-nice person that I am, reported him for account trading/sharing. :P

I actually logged into the account on the forums, to see if it worked. and it did ofcourse. I was very tempted to take the account, but decided not to.
When he came back, I told him that his noob bot was posting his user and password, and that I was able to log into it. I asked him what bot he was using, but he avoided answering the question.
He then went on to brag infront of the very people that could've just hacked him, about his 7M bank, and how we couldn't get it cause of the "Jagex Account Guardian" which doesn't work in 07.

Obviously the bot he was using wasn't Simba, as Simba wouldn't make a mistake like typing someones user/pass into chat. lol

But, it made me chuckle a bit.

P.S sorry if this isn't the appropriate place for the thread, not sure where it should go really. :P

I think so, however he also had it typed next to his email.

I dont know what type of crappy bot hr was using certainly couldnt have been injection either i dont think they can mess up with login state

This happened to me once, lucky I was babysitting and backspaced abit of it before it entered it! Haha.

Thats Redhot That used to happen to me at the resource dungeon in the mining guild i nearly pooped myself…lucky i caught it in time or christmass would come early to some rs troll ha

Doesn't have to necessarily have to be profanity. RS *'s words you wouldn't expect "nazi" is *'d out for apparent reasons but "poof" is *'d out so there are different options (:

Hmm…someone should make a thread on words that are starred in Runescape. Lolz.

SMART can screw this up, not sure why it happens though - this is why I have profanity, IN MY EMAIL :P
I've seen quite a few people type out their passwords outside fight cave, pretty sure they were using Simba too

I remember a long while ago MSI did this every once and a while. Not that big of a deal really but quite amusing nonetheless.

Actually, when I run my script I have to disable it real quick to put in my bank pin, and when I enable it again, a few times (3-4 times) it typed out my username… So I just wait until it starts typing my pass and backspace it, lol.

Just gonna change my password to have dotcom or profanity in it like that guy said ^.. Very smart.

Simba types password sometimes when you start the script and SMART isn't enabled. You push play and then after that enabling SMART may cause this

found a better way to prevent accidentally saying your user/pass ingame :P

(if you put 80 of them) can't be said in runescape, but can be typed. and can't be typed in the login screen.

so when I start a script, in the username / password

  Players[0].Name := '````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````username';
  Players[0].Pass := '````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````password';

i put that(80 `). So if it tries to type it in game, it will say nothing publicly, and when it tries to log in, it will work! ^^

Pretty sure if you press enter between pass and email (like simba does)
It won't show..
I guess whatever bot he was using. Uses TAB instead of enter or something, to go to next field..
