Checked with bit defender, threw no flags. However I havent scanned with Wiresahrk to see where it goes. Looks like a legit mod to me.

I actually came to this section to discuss whether anyone had tried SA:MP, and to my surprise, I found this thread. Yes, it's totally safe.

I've been playing actively on a server called CrazyBob's Cops'n'Robbers since 2010 (about the only game I play). It's incredibly well scripted, addicting and has a huge player base.

I played on this server for a long time. I started around 2010 too. I couldn't login for a week because my brother got banned for quitting during a police pursuit. They did an IP ban so I also got banned. When I logged back in my house had been sold and it had close to 15M+ in there. I stopped playing after that.
