My birthday is coming up next week, so I am thinking about buying myself a new phone since the phone I currently have is crappy and was free 3 years ago with a 2 year contract. I want a smart phone but I'm not sure what I should get. so far I have been thinking about an iphone 5, galaxy s3 or galaxy s4 when it comes out (May 1 I think?). So from you I am wondering what you think is best one of those or something else. please vote in the poll below and tell me why you picked what you picked. I am thinking about the iphone just because of the size I don't really want something huge but on the other hand I dislike apple. so give me some opinions on this please.

Galaxy s4. Why get the S3 when the S4 is coming out for not much more money?

Iphone5 quality piece of kit and you can iMessage me. All wins :)

No doubt Iphone and S3 and great phones… but if you don't like apple.. your not missing anything getting a S4 which will probalbly be better considering right now S3 is better/same the Iphone5

The S4 looks good! The features etc… The iPhone 5 seems a little… lacking? The features don't seem that improved with a larger screen and a "few" features. Although I'd wait at least a week and see what the reviews of the S4 turn out to be!

The S3 was the iPhone killer, so what does that make the S4?

Definitely get the S4.

I'd go with the S4, I have a iPhone 5, and the 5 isnt going to be better than the new Samsung, S3 Iphone 5 = roughly the same.

As much as I love my iPhone, I'd wait it out until the S4 is released. Reading about it the other day, it sounds far superior.

Get the Galaxy Note 2. I have the 1 and it's amazing.
The size is big, BUT if you're a gamer and or like to watch movies, this phone is PERFECT for you. It has a little pen too that you can use to draw on your pictures or play games easier or write with.

I personally love the size because of how easy it is to see everything. You can't go wrong with this phone. The camera is amazing both picture/video.

I have unlimited Data on my phone so having this phone with that mix is preferred. Watch youtube videos all the time and search the web. I have nothing bad to say about this phone.

the size is a no for me. i want something that i can put in my pocket and not worry about that. i really like the galaxy s3 and im sure the s4 will be even better but the size is my only quarrel about it.

It's thin and fits in your pocket without problem lol I don't know what you are thinking of.

If money is not a problem, S4, if it is, S3.
NO iPone!
Went from iPhone4 to S3, never going back to iOS again, Android is SO MUCH better.

Get the samsung Galaxy S4..

It stays fine. It's not that big that it will fall out.
I will say if you're wearing track pants for example, the pockets are loose and it sometimes falls out but this is while im sitting down on my couch in weird angles that even if you had another phone it will still fall out though.

Maybe that kid's just clumsy and dumb :P.

The s4 is still good if the note is too big for ya. It all depends what you use your phone for. I like mine cause you see things well mainly.

alright thanks. i think i like the s3/4 more than note just due to size. i don't really need something that big i only play games occasionally anyway.

Get the new Nexus 4 :) I have a Galaxy Nexus and it is a solid phone.

If you think the note is too big then S4 for sure. I will never buy Apple again!

i will. i think i may wait it out until the s4 has been out for like 2 weeks and see what people are thinking. so until then this thread will stay open for voting :D

thanks that was actually pretty interesting. but i want to get more of a consumer idea of what people think not just critics.

I dont regret my iphone, I love it, but I wish I had a S4 too XD

I've got the note and I actually like it's size, i'm surprised at the fact i'm so used to it now it's hard for me to text on small phones.

To answer the question YES it does fit just fine in your pocket (assuming you are male), my wifes pockets are so small that I doubt it would fit lol.

iPhone 5, all day everyday! Even if its only for the prestige of telling people that you have it! ;)

On a serious note, I have the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 and couldn't recommend them enough…they have all the features you'd expect just make sure you get a cover to avoid scratches on the screen!

Why would you need 3 iPhones?

I would wait a little longer. If you are fan of apple, iphone 5S shoudl arrive in the next couple months.
S4 seems good, but it's plastic. I would go for an iphone , or HTC One!

The iPhone 4 was like my first iPhone, I don't use that anymore.

I bought the iPhone 4s when that came out as an upgrade and now use that as my work phone whilst using my new iPhone 5 for personal use.
