I think the hard part about rock crabs is they aren't on the mini map and they are almost identical to the color of the ground. But yeah I agree with Hoodz.
I did make a private one for somebody on here a numbers of years ago will have a look on my computer later on I remember using ddtm's for locating crab spawns points and walking to them.
Used dtm's to confirm position of crab before clicking.
Was never very reliable way of detecting the crabs they usually auto attacked before it found the dtm I did create abit of ai that remembered each spawn point it was at to avoid running to a dead spot tho that was also sketchy as spawning times are dependable on players in your area.
Would like to attempt this again sometime and may'b soon I hope been very busy this year but I'm back and eager to dust of my keyboard.
