DarkWizardTower Iron Miner

EDIT: Have added banking and put this script in the public scripts section - I won't be updating it here anymore.

This is a pretty basic script that powermines iron next to the Dark Wizard's Tower. It uses much of what I learned from Yohojo's videos. It mines 2-3 iron rocks depending on where you start the script (see maps).

I'm currently getting around 20k xp an hour in F2p. There don't seem to be many people who mine here. :D

Instructions

- Either equip your pickaxe or put it in the FIRST SLOT if you're using a skiller (otherwise it will be dropped).
- Set Zoom to the far left (lowest) on the graphics options.
- Start in one of the two locations in the map. The yellow location will only mine the two close rocks (good if there's other people around), and the red will mine all 3 (more xp if no one's around).

Features
- Antiban
- basic failsafes
- progress report
- 20k xp/hr

Features to add (when I learn how to :duh:)
- Banking? Not sure if it's worth it, but the mine is pretty close to Falador bank.
- Action bar dropping.
- World hopping.

Credits
Yohojo, for his awesome tutorials. :spot:
abu_jwka for his Progress Report tutorial.

Let me know of any ways I can improve it :). Enjoy!

Working on it atm! The walking is such a pain though. I'm trying to make a good dtm for the shortcut to the bank, but it's not working well :(

Lol, I tried that agility shortcut myself and it's hard
but keep working, I'll look into it once more too ;)

Darn, I made a script for here too because it was so empty, was about 90k gp/h with banking :p

The shortcut isn't too hard, look in into using ATPAs :)

The path right next to the shortcut is a distinct color, filter out any tpas in the wall atpa that don't have that color next to them :)

I managed to get banking working pretty well now using DTMs for the obstacle. It gets there and back about 80% of the time. I'll upload it once it's a little more stable :)

I made a TPA that works most of the time, but it sometimes takes a while to find it. What's the code for filtering out Tpas? Are there any good tutorials on filtering? :o

I used Footy's Intermediate Tutorial, I think you've seen it though.

The filtering is when you see the for to do loop, it goes through each of the tpas and it checks to see if there is a color within that tpa. If there isn't, it deleted it from the atpa. Footy probably explained it better than me though :p

Nice first script, this is exactly what i want my first to be like, any tips on tutorials you used? I've Learned a bit from beginner tutorials but can't find any other ones to increase my knowledge about pascal.

Thanks :) I'd watch YoHojo's videos on Youtube if you haven't already. I found those really easy to understand and good practice.
Watching and following those alone helped me make this script relatively fast.

Practice making some DTMs for objects, maps, etc. You can even use DTMs for walking.
Here's a good guide on SPS walking you should read SPS Walking
And these are great tutorials on making TPAs:
Beginner TPAs
Intermediate TPAs
I read these and made a TPA for the falador wall, so my player could find it easily. It worked much more accurately than using a DTM.

If you need help making your first script, you can always post in the help section. I've always got quick responses there and everyone is really helpful.

Good luck making your first script!
