Just went on runetracker to check my exp gains for today and I saw that skills that I didn't even train had seen climbs in rank. Does this mean people got banned?

Yeah, that means people who were ranked higher than you got banned and therefore removed from the highscores.

People either got banned
or those people that stopped paying for membership had their stats cleared from the highscoresEDIT: Just saw your picture, that is insane. It was bans then

Seems like a substantial amount of banning if I'm gaining thousands of ranks
Maybe they don't remove expired membership users right away and they do it like once in three months or so :D

I saw this a few days ago. This is what I was thinking, but it could just be that runetracker is bugged. If that many users were banned then surely there would be a lot if ranting on other forums.

I've noticed a 5k jump in ranks gaining very little xp :S I haven't seen any rants from anyone about bans. I looked my rank up on adventurers log on rs :3

oh cool, must of been a ban wave. most likely the 07 scape bans people have been raging about. Remember they are attached to EOC accounts that are banned too. And there has been ALOT of 07 bans lately.

Oh I wasn't aware banned in 07 meant banned in EOC as lots of bots moved from EOC to 07 servers for the better gold farming opportunities, so they most likely were banned. Another common thing that happened was a very high amount botters' were just doing silk 24/7 which JaGex found out about pretty easily due to the amount of complaints from players which lead to mass bans as JMods such as Mod Daezun went world to world ban hammering them.
