I have no scripting knowledge and i am tired of being a leecher, i have yet to find something i couldnt learn given the proper tools.
Are there guides, should i just look at existing free scripts and try to figure it out from that, everyone has to start somewhere but some people are just so dam good at this is it because of legitimate classes that they took such as java or c++. Ultimate goal would be able to make a flawless ape atoll agility course that could run overnight. I really want to work towards this goal as a hobby, learn something new.

http://villavu.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=490And all scripts are open source so examine and tinker to your hearts content. Just make sure to give out credit if you use them.
Of course, taking classes on this stuff will give you a massive boost but it is possible to script without ever taking them.
It is best to start with beginner tutorial, read almost every of those tutorials, especially Yohojo's video tutorial which is very helpful when I started scripting. After that, try look through some of those good free scripts and learn how should it be coded. Then you should be able to write your very own script. If you have any questions, you can just ask them here, people in this community are quite helpful :D
Glad to see someone like you who is willing to learn joining the community, brings back my memories of when I first joined this community.
