Radial Walking Aid? OSR

ive been searching for about two hours now trying to find a radial walking aid such as the one talked about here:
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11584
any one know of one thats still posted? im new and trying create a very simple walk path (the point im trying to walk to is always on the minimap with respect to my initial position, its not very far). otherwise its going to be a lot of painstaking trial and error.. i think lol.

ive also tried this one:
http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70341
but smart8 just white screens and when i disable smart8 and drag the client window it wont get the map pic..

heres a pic of where im at and trying to go

the goal of adding this to my script is so if in combat it will run to that said location and climb up the ladder. If you think there's an easier way im open for suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

have you tried manually figuring out radial walk

RadialWalkTolerance(color, start angle, end angle, distance from center to search,random x pixels,random y pixels, tolerance);

You can just make a DTM of that brown thing (whatever it is), and search for DTM coordinates, then click there and wait until not moving. Then just search for the ladder and climb it. No need to use radial walk for such short distance.

EDIT: And make sure you take into account your minimap rotation, and search the DTM with that rotation.

Rough example:
program new;
{$I SRL-OSR/SRL.simba}

var MM_LadderDTM: Integer;
MM_LadderTP: TPoint;

function FindLadder(var p: TPoint): Boolean;
var x, y: Integer;
CompassAngle, aFound: Extended;
begin
CompassAngle := rs_GetCompassAngleDegrees();
if (FindDTMRotatedSE(MM_LadderDTM, x, y, MMX1, MMY1, MMX2, MMY2, CompassAngle - 10.0, CompassAngle + 10.0, 1.0, aFound)) then begin
p := Point(x, y);
Result := True;
end else
Result := False;
end;

begin
MM_LadderDTM := DTMFromString('your dtm string');

if (FindLadder(MM_LadderTP)) then begin
Writeln('Ladder found.');
//Walk to it
end else begin
Writeln('Ladder not found.');
//Try running away maybe? With: procedure RunAway(dir: variant; RunFar: Boolean; Action, WaitTime: Integer);
end;

FreeDTM(MM_LadderDTM);
end.

thats why i thought radial walking would be easier, wouldnt have to necesarrily worry about compass rotation. but thanks! ill try this! i havent used dtmrotated but i found a guide on it.

Radialwalking aid for OSR is working for me. You need to open the script with the same simba and run it while simba is enabled, then click on load map.

I still say that is a more inaccurate way of doing this, I strongly recommend you create a DTM and locate the ladder with it.

I would agree on this. I'm using radialwalk on my script now and it's not very accurate for some reasons. I have to adjust the x and y coordinates the radialwalk clicks.

good to know, i created a dtm too but im still working out some in game bugs so i havent been able to test either one. ive noticed when you log in with osr and smart8 the compass angle is like 8.somethingsomething or 4.somethingsomething (should be 0???) so maybe the minimap is off too? idk. below is my compass code if you want to try it out

program OSRGetCompass;

{$DEFINE SMART8}
{$I SRL-OSR/SRL.simba}
{$I SRL/SRL/Misc/Debug.Simba}

procedure DeclarePlayer;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1;
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers);
CurrentPlayer := 0;
Players[0].Name := ''; //Enter your username
Players[0].Pass := ''; //Enter your password
Players[0].Pin:= ''; //Enter your bankpin
Players[0].WorldInfo := []; //Enter a world or leave it blank for a random world
Players[0].Nick := ''; //Enter your username as seen when logged in or parts of it
Players[0].LampSkill := Skill_Slayer;
Players[0].Active := True;
end;

procedure getcompassangle;
begin
Writeln(ToStr(Rs_GetCompassAngleDegrees));
end;

begin
DeclarePlayer;
SetupSRL;
ActivateClient;
ClearDebug;
Wait(1000);
If (Not LoggedIn) then
begin
LogInPlayer;
end;
begin
repeat
getcompassangle;
until(Not LoggedIn);
end;
TerminateScript;
end.

The compass isn't accurate in 07 runescape. That's the only problem I had with my script. Even if you had your minimap to face north (while compass isn't north), minimap will still shift a little to east or west overtime.

better keep all my angles then incase they fix it :P ha
