Visual c++ is crap and yet another m1cr0$0f7 invention. Get gcc g++ compiler for linux, and pwn em leet.

A release program, such as a legitimate McAfee, should not be compiled in debug mode. Make sure that the exe that is giving the error is legitimate. If you are not sure, consider removing it from start up, or at least scan it with a few anti viruses, because it might be malware.

Off topic note: Microsoft Visual C++ is probably the best C++ windows IDE, and its compiler, the best windows compiler.

I'm with duther. msvc++ has always worked great for me.
