Could you upload a screenshot of an Ent so I can see what it looks like? Remember to have it be a .png because some other image formats don't have the right colors! :)

Wait does the Ent look identical to a Yew tree?

Are there any features that an Ent has that a Yew tree doesn't have?

So would you want to ignore the Ent while woodcutting, or once you see it do you want to interact with it?

lololol u don't know your old school ;)

If u keep chopping the ent , it'll break your axe.

OP: Is this not fixed by the anti-random developers?

Yeah indeed, only way I could think is making it look for the yellow when you're right-clicking tree.

The same way a human would detect it. First off, have your script know which tree it is you're cutting, using whatever methods you'd like to. Second, either constantly check the a box region that includes the tree (the more it includes of "only" the tree, the better) for pixelshift (color-based movement). For confirmation, when a certain amount of pixelshift is detected move your mouse over the tree you're cutting and check for yellow uptext. Perhaps you could make a bitmap of the yellow "Cut" uptext which would make it universal for all types of Ents.

Of course I don't, I was 10 when I last played it so I have only vague recollections of what things were like ;)

This one wouldn't be up to the random devs, it would be the scripter's job to only click on white tree text when looking for a tree.
