Hi there,
I'm kinda new member here and haven't written an introduction or something, so here it is. So… played RS in 2003, then had a huge break, until 2009. Was quite surprised my account was still alive. Played for a week, then stopped again, due to other interests. Those interests hopped around until i stumbled upon gold-farming and how there are bot armies running around doing business and stuff. Then i remembered RS and logged in(was still surprised my account was still alive; only 2 weeks ago) and searched for some bots. Found that SRL(or, Simba) was an open-source and liked the idea instantly, due to being a fan of general open-source-loviness. And here i am, leeching a lot of scripts and reading how they perform and so on.
Main experiment is to see how profitable RMT is, but since RS is so infested with bots, i think it would be hard without any… ways to overcome the limitations of RS set of political and technical rules.
