I wrestled my entire life, and have played runescape for more than half of my life. I cam to this community years ago and never took part in it. Quite frankly i was intimidated by it. One day I sat down and decided i was going to learn how to code because quite frankly everyone in this community makes it quite obvious that it is about learning not botting. I have learned much and still have much to learn. I have created a few scripts for my personal use but have only released one public. I enjoy the game of runescape and I enjoy coding. The challenge that comes from coding is actually just as exciting as it is frustrating to me. I am interested in sticking with this community for years to come as i plan on expanding my coding/scripting abilities much farther than i have already expanded.

Your activity is low! like others have said, but work on that and your script and you are a shoe in!

okay i get it now, it isn't just about scripting, you guys want to see activity on the forums. i will work on that over the next month and reapply!

I'm glad you understand the activity part of it, but it helps to have scripting ability, too! :p

So, here's some stuff you might want to try:

-Don't declare x, and y globally, because it's a big nono in SRL members.
-You really need to have good standards, so that we can read your script well, and judge accordingly.
-Custom object/monster finding is a great way to get in, and combat scripts are harder to script, so I'd try that if I were you.
-Randomization is a must (+/- on x and y, so that it doesn't click staticly.
-Good antiban is a must
-Failsafes are a must (Pixelshift.. Marktime().. ect.)


One thing that'll help is joining the Skype group, you can ask for help, and such when needed. That's what I did, lol. ;)

Anyway, I'm going to vote no, because you need more activity and scripting abilities.

It would be nice if there was a failsafe here…something like adding a variable that is incremented every time it can't do something or a couple things in a row…then resets when it successfully executes (can't find the door 5 times? then kill the script).

In general there could be more failsafes…for example if you can't find the stairs, you still try and do the next thing in the queue of things to do…and using findobjcustom means your mouse is probably bouncing around more than a beachball at a Nickleback concert.

Overall you are definitely on the right track, develop these scripts a little more and I think you could get in next time you apply (provided your activity goes up too :) ) (apply again in a month)
