I mainly do house parties, but I'm getting on the event scene as well :) Through this comp, I will hopefully be playing at some events held by my uni and uni societies.

I would suggest, if you're truly thinking about getting into dj-ing, to get the Vestax Spin DJ MIDI Controller. I've never used it, but I've heard it recommended by quite a few people for a good, cheap beginner set! Native Instrument's Traktor software is what I use (find a torrent somewhere ;) ) but I'd would highly, highly recommend getting the hands on experience :D SO, if you have some friends with dj gear, raid their house!
