I was minding my own business killing tzhaar today, and some troll ran by like always and attacked the tzhaar I was attacking. Instead of easily recovering back to a safe spot from being attacked, my character was completely frozen. It wasnt like a normal lag where the npc froze too though, the tzhaar continued to attack me and I tried running and teleported but nothing worked. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and if it indeed was a troll ddosing me which just seems like a little much. I was in world 18 and the lag or ddos lasted for about 5 minutes. My internet never lost connection and I havent lagged since.

-Im pissed off because I lost my 5k iron arrows which I made from scratch.

What you described is when you can't input anything on RS, but you can see what is going on around you. That's world lag. A ddos would completely disconnect you off of RS and anything else that requires internet connection. Also never carry your entire stack of supplies around with you into dangerous areas.

ok, ya Ive never lagged like that before. Usually the npcs completely freeze too but this time they just kept attacking. Moral of the story kids, wear a ring of life.

I've had this happened to me. Where Ive been frozen and cannot move, while a monster still attacked me. Of course I d/c right after that.
