Okay so I'm fairly new to Simba, and have little to no clue on how coding works. I keep trying to update to smart8 & get ANY fighter script to work. I have been trying with Litoris' ChickenKiller & keep getting a couple different messages. When i try to run script off the scripts main tab i get this:
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL-OSR/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba(229:202): Invalid number of parameters at line 228
Compiling failed.
At this time another tab opens up labeled "SmartParams".
(this happens regardless of whether or not i change ($DEFINE SMART8) to ($DEFINE SMART) or not.
The tab is completely blank so i try to compile & get this error:
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL-OSR\SRL\misc\SmartParams.Simba(35:7): Unknown identifier 'Smart_World' at line 34
Compiling failed.
Like i said any help is GREATLYappreciated.

Try changing the {$DEFINE SMART} to {$DEFINE SMART8}

I mentioned in the op that it doesn't make any difference. I'm guessing that it has something to do with either how smartparams.simba is installed or which version i have. But like i said I'm fairly new to all this.
By the way i forgot to mention in OP that i am currently running out of wine on mac.

You will definitely always have to run off the tab containing the script itself, otherwise an error will be thrown trying to run the helper file.
How recently did you install the OSR include? I believe there was an issue with it not long ago that you may need to reinstall because of.

I downloaded SRL-OSR last night. Also I start running it off the script tab, but it opens up a new one for params but that tab is completely blank and gives this error:
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL-OSR/SRL/misc/SmartParams.Simba(229:202): Invalid number of parameters at line 228
Compiling failed.
I find it very strange considering its a blank tab.

Download smart 8.0 (see smart section of forums)

It appears to be blank, but if you use the scroll on the bottom and drag it to the left you will see stuff written.
This error IS fixed by doing as Justin said. I don't see how you can do this wrong.
Just download smart 8.
Edit: ninja'd

I have downloaded it. But im not quite sure what to do with it. I read on the smart v8.0 thread that i need to put java in my path, and when i read the how to on that, it said to go in the control panel etc.. But from what I'm seeing wine doesn't have that, so i just downloaded it to wine.
Anyways i downloaded "SMART-master" from benlands post link/github. Now i put the file in plugins but what do i do from there?
Again thank you everyone for your help and patience.

If you extracted the files to the plugins folder, just try to run your script

Well i downloaded the zip file from Benland's Github link & when i do it shows up in downloads as a folder. All i can do is move the folder into plugins. The only option is to compress into a zip & i cant even extract those. Am i missing a software or something?

Sorry I'm not very savvy with simba/scripts. I've honestly been working nearly 8 + hours on getting this up and running.
