I used to play eternal lands a long long time ago. It would have been back in 2007/2008. I ran into a few problems with the admins/mods and got banned for a while, and when I did eventually get unbanned I did play for a little bit after that but never really got back into it.

I was wondering if anyone here has played/does play it? I have a few scripts, which I can possibly finetune to get working, and I was wondering if anyone here has played it, and if so, have you made any scripts for it?

Yeah :P It is quite similar to Runescape in terms of gameplay and graphics, one of the reasons I started playing it actually. I found it was quite fun and enjoyable and the possibility of creating a macro for it came into mind (Back in the SCAR days) and I started developing one. I worked on one for ages and then when I finished making one I wrote it with fixed coords because only I was ever going to use it.

Now I have one that is dynamic and detects where everything is so the possibility of other people using my script is definitely a plus. Was hoping some other people here play it so I could let them use/test my script.

I know this a old post but I play Eternal-Lands, was wondering if you still have the scripts so I can try them out?

I have scripts. They are all for alchemy though for the time being. They can most likely be modified to work with potion, crafting, manufacturing, engineering, etc.

All those skills that require you to mix stuff as pretty easy to automate.

This game looks like a mixture of Ultima Online and RS for what i've seen heh

I played it a lot back in the day, but due to a silly error on my behalf I got myself banned. I might as well post what happened.

So instead of clicking on a resource to gather it, I just sent a packet to the server which was the click. This meant I didn't have to write functions and stuff to detect ores/flowers. I changed to a different map and silly me replayed that same packet.

I'm not sure if I set off alarm bells in the server room, but the owner of the game teleported right next to me and banned me.

This was probably a good 4+ years ago.
